Become a Conflict Management Trainer

As a society, we are not handling conflict very well. Would you like to be part of the solution?  Creating Common Ground is offering free conflict resolution training (interpersonal, social and political conflict resolution) to qualified individuals who are interested in joining our team of conflict management leaders.

Creating Common Ground is a nonprofit devoted to teaching people how to bridge divides on contentious interpersonal, social and political issues. We want to create a more compassionate and collaborative society. Our goal is to bring conflict management skills and values to the public at low or no cost.  We want to teach conflict resolution skills to:

  1. Individuals and couples to foster closer and more fulfilling relationships.
  2. Organizations to increase collaboration and mission effectiveness
  3. Teachers, parents and children to help children learn to resolve conflict peacefully
  4. Politicians, policy makers and ordinary people interested in finding ways bridge political divides and difficult political problems

When you join our team, you will be trained in the CCG Resolve System of Conflict Management.  At the end of training, you will receive a CCG Conflict Management Certificate. You will then be qualified to be paid to run conflict management workshops and coaching sessions with clients to seek to learn to resolve conflict through Creating Common Ground.

To apply, simply send a resume and a cover letter explaining why you want to become a Conflict Resolution Fellow at Creating Common Ground.  Send your materials to Michael F. Mascolo, Ph.D. at michaelmascolo@creatingcommonground.org.

If you have questions, please contact Dr. Mascolo at the same email.
